Fitness Fads

you have seen them--- the ads that promise that you will look wonderful and feel fit for just a few minutes' effort a day. Don't believe them. fitness fads that promise shortcuts to a well tuned body rarely work, and some may actually be harmful.

There ar the food for fitness fads, for instance special diets that promise miracles. yet they rarely result in permanent weight loss or body improvement. in fact, food fads may harm your body by depriving it of needed nutrients.

Programs that promise to reduce fat from certain parts of your body, such as your waist or things, are useless too. you'll never be able to lose fat in just one place. your fat is distributed according to your body type. Exercise will help tone muscles in certain area, but not necessarily in the place you would choose.

Some fitness gadgets and devices can be useful, but they are certainly not essential. weights and aprings, for Example, are fine for  building strength, but they have little use in developing stamina training. perhaps they may motivate you to exercise. but you don't need them. you can get just as much useful exercise by running in place.
